Scope of Services
Q. What types of interactions can Starlite Technology provide?
We offer motion-sensing interaction (Kinect and similar sensing technologies), radar / touchscreen interaction, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), AI / green-screen background removal, signature / message interactive wall, RFID / Arduino hardware integration, web-based interaction, and app development. We have over 10 years of accumulated experience in interactive production.
Q. Can you customise, or are there only fixed packages?
Both options are available. We offer a range of modular interactive packages that can be used as-is, and we can also develop fully custom solutions based on your requirements. For modular packages, the client provides the visual artwork assets, and we handle the hardware and software integration into the interactive system.
Q. Do you only work on exhibitions, or can you handle other events too?
Beyond exhibitions, we also cover brand launches, corporate internal events, press conferences, road races, and pop-up retail activations. Any occasion that calls for interactive experiences is something we can plan for.
Timeline and Process
Q. How long does it take from confirming the collaboration to going live?
It depends on the complexity of the interaction. Typically 4 to 8 weeks. Modular solutions (including motion-sensing interaction) can be ready in as little as 2 to 3 weeks. Fully custom development needs at least 6 weeks. The earlier we start discussing, the better the quality and detail.
Q. What does the collaboration process look like?
Requirements confirmation → Project proposal → Visual design → Development → Testing and adjustments → On-site setup → Event support. We work flexibly — we can handle the full project end to end, or handle development only if the client supplies the artwork. We also provide rental quotes for hardware and software equipment.
Budget
Q. What is the approximate budget for interactive experiences?
Pricing varies by interaction type and scale. We handle projects ranging from web-based interactions and motion-sensing interaction modules in the tens of thousands of NTD, up to large-scale immersive projection installations. Costs also depend on the complexity of the artwork production and how source materials are provided. We recommend sharing your event goals and budget range with us first, and we will propose the most suitable solution within your budget.
Q. Is this budget worth it for a one-time event?
Interactive experiences effectively increase visitor dwell time and brand recall. Many clients convert their interactive content into an online version for continued use after the event ends. We also have multiple long-term clients who carry over or upgrade their interactive content with each new exhibition.
Technology and Venue
Q. What are the venue requirements? What equipment needs to be prepared?
You only need power and internet access. Hardware (screens, sensors, computers, etc.) will be provided or sourced through rental as part of the package. Venue space requirements are assessed during the planning stage. You do not need to worry about hardware.
Q. What happens if equipment fails on-site during an event?
The system is designed with backup mechanisms to keep the interactive experience running without interruption. Before the event, we provide full operating instructions and a troubleshooting guide. If on-site engineer support is needed, this can be arranged as a separate quoted service.
Q. Can the system be used at venues with unstable or no internet connection?
Yes. Many of our interactive solutions support offline operation and do not rely on an external network. If connectivity is required, a mobile hotspot or a self-hosted local area network can be used instead.
Results and Trust
Q. How do I know if the interactive experience is working well? Is there data I can review?
Our system can include a built-in back-end management function that lets you view real-time data such as participant count, interaction count, and dwell time. A full report can also be exported after the event ends. This feature needs to be confirmed during the project planning stage so it can be built into the development scope.
Q. Which clients has Starlite Technology worked with?
We have worked with Interplan International Corp., OLILY International Design Group, ELITE PR GROUP, National Taiwan University College of Medicine, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and National Chi Nan University, spanning exhibition design, public relations and advertising, higher education and the arts.
