【IP Fan Support】 LAIMO Catch Me | New Taipei CTBC DEA "Tapir Power" Lucky Day - Motion-Sensing Catch Interaction

Project Design Concept: During a high-energy professional basketball themed week, how do you break away from traditional static booth displays and instantly ignite fan enthusiasm around the arena? This project deeply integrates the popular illustration IP "LAIMO the Malayan Tapir" with the basketball elements of New Taipei CTBC DEA, developing the "LAIMO Catch Me" motion-sensing catch interaction. Participants shift their whole body left and right with agile movement to accurately catch designated objects within a time limit and accumulate points. The playful co-branded IP is transformed into a highly immersive motion-sensing challenge. Through the entertaining crowd-gathering effect on site, innovative technology deepens fans' brand connection with the team's themed day.

Interactive Application Advantages:

  • IP Digital Translation: The hugely popular Malayan Tapir IP and basketball elements are seamlessly converted into motion-sensing components. Familiar classic mechanics lower the barrier to participation and maximise the marketing impact of the cross-brand collaboration.
  • High-Precision Motion Sensing: A mature motion-detection framework lets participants catch objects through body movement without wearing any device.
  • Strong Crowd-Drawing Effect: The fast-paced, high-engagement motion-sensing challenge naturally draws attention. It quickly gathers crowds at large event venues such as sports arenas, driving peak popularity at exhibitions and events.
