【Motion-Sensing Interaction Application】 Exploring Taiwan in Depth | 2021 ITF Culture Hall - "Culture as Your Guide" Virtual Exploration

Project Design Concept: To reflect the curatorial theme of "Culture as Your Guide", Starlite Technology applied contactless motion-sensing detection technology to transform abstract cultural routes into tangible interactive experiences. We moved beyond the conventional static display of images and text, inviting visitors to use their bodies as controllers to simulate the act of "walking the land". Through intuitive gestures such as waving and stepping, the experience symbolises exploring Taiwan on foot, allowing visitors to naturally discover cultural tourism highlights hidden across the island through playful interaction.

Interactive Experience Flow:

• Motion-Sensing Activation: Visitors stand in the sensing zone. The system captures body skeletal data in real time. No wearable device is required to begin the interaction.
• Wave to Explore: By waving both hands, visitors sweep away clouds or layers on the screen to uncover hidden in-depth cultural attraction information.
• Step to Accelerate: Stepping in place or lifting the legs prompts the system to detect movement frequency and link it to the travel speed on the map, symbolising measuring the land with one's footsteps and unlocking more travel routes.
