【Ecological Education Interactive】 Forest Knowledge Grab Game | 2025 ITF National Forest Pavilion - AR Motion-Sensing Q&A Experience

Project Design Concept: How do you get visitors to actively learn about Taiwan's endemic species during an exhibition? Starlite Technology designed an interactive learning tool for the National Forest Pavilion that combines knowledge Q&A with motion-sensing grab mechanics. Instead of pressing buttons, visitors use their hands to physically "grab" the correct answer. This approach ties a physical action to the learning moment, helping the brain retain information more effectively and making ecological education engaging and rewarding.

Interactive Experience Flow:

  • Virtual Space Sensing: Visitors stand in front of the screen and see themselves placed inside a virtual forest ecosystem.
  • Dynamic Question Challenges: Ecology questions about Taiwan's endemic species — such as the Formosan black bear, leopard cat, and Mikado pheasant — appear at the top of the screen.
  • Mid-Air Grab to Answer: Icons representing the correct answers appear at random positions. Visitors reach out with both hands, "grab" an icon in the air, and place it in the designated area to submit their answer — testing both knowledge and physical coordination.
