【Web VR Virtual Exhibition Hall】 The Fantastical Flight of the Mechanical Bee | 2024 Taiwan External Trade Development Council – Immersive Hardware Tools Exploration

Project Design Concept: To move beyond the dull "click to next page" experience of traditional online exhibitions, Starlite Technology built a fantastical floating island in the clouds for the Taiwan External Trade Development Council Hardware Tools Show. The defining feature is a gamified third-person view (TPV) control mechanic. Visitors take on the role of a precision "mechanical bee" and fly freely along a carefully designed aerial track. The flight simulation draws global buyers to actively explore the quality hardware hand tools displayed along the route, bringing a sense of adventure to B2B sourcing.

Interactive Experience Flow:

• Role and Controls: Upon entering the page, the user immediately becomes the mechanical bee.
  • Desktop: Scroll the mouse wheel to fly forward or backward.
  • Mobile: Use the on-screen virtual joystick (Joystick UI) to intuitively guide the bee along the track.
• Track-Based Navigation: Fly along the aerial track, with featured product models from various exhibitors (such as electric wrenches and precision pliers) floating on either side.
• Interactive Information Hotspots: When the bee approaches a product of interest, click to view detailed specifications and link directly to the manufacturer's website or catalogue page.
• Quick Directory Jump: In addition to free flight, a shortcut directory (Road / List) on the right side of the screen lets buyers quickly switch to a specific exhibition zone or product list, balancing the joy of exploration with search efficiency.
