【Stage Competition Interactive】 Guardians of Taiwan's Endemic Species | 2025 ITF Taiwan Pavilion - Mountain and Sea Treasures Two-Player Reaction Showdown
Project Design Concept: To create a lively, high-engagement atmosphere on the main stage of the ITF Taiwan Pavilion, we designed a two-player speed game that tests both knowledge and composure.
Two competitors take the stage together, backed by the visual impact of a large screen. The game mechanic returns to the purest form of reaction challenge: as a variety of creatures appear one after another, players must accurately identify which ones are Taiwan's endemic species. It is not just a test of hand speed — it is an intuitive test of ecological knowledge about Taiwan. The competitive tension, combined with attractive prizes for winners, drew crowds to the stage area.
Interactive Experience Flow:
- Two-Player Stage PK: Challengers stand on opposite sides of the stage. The large screen displays both players' scores and a countdown timer in real time, building a tense and exciting atmosphere.
- Precise Identification Mechanic: Various animals and plants appear on screen in sequence. Players must stay focused and make a judgement — if the creature is a Taiwan endemic species (such as the Formosan black bear), press the button immediately to score; if it is not an endemic species (such as a polar bear), hold back and wait for it to leave.
- Real-Time Scoring and Award Presentation: When time runs out, the system tallies the results based on the number of correct identifications. The winner receives a quality gift on the spot, giving the interaction a genuine sense of achievement.
