【Remote Synchronisation Technology】 A Dialogue Across Cities | 2025 Smart City Summit & Expo - Taipei / Kaohsiung Real-Time Message Connection

Project Design Concept: The 2025 Smart City Summit & Expo opened simultaneously in both Taipei and Kaohsiung. To bridge the geographical distance and embody the core spirit of "smart connectivity",

we created the "Cross-City Co-Performance Message Wall". Using low-latency network transmission technology, we linked the exhibition venues in the north and south. When visitors in Taipei write a message, the screens in Kaohsiung display it in real time, and vice versa. This is more than a message board — it is a digital bridge connecting the thoughts and feelings of residents across both cities.

Interactive Experience Flow:

• Dual-Location Real-Time Connection: The system architecture supports multi-point synchronisation, keeping the exhibition screens in Taipei and Kaohsiung consistent at all times.
• Cross-Regional Exchange: Kaohsiung visitors can write their vision for a smart city on a tablet, while Taipei visitors can view the messages in real time and respond or give a like.
• Visual Connectivity: Messages appear as animated bubbles, symbolising the free flow of information between cities and giving tangible form to the boundless connectivity of a smart city.
