【Scenario Simulation Experience】 Spot the Digital Trap | 2024 FinTech Expo – Scam SMS Protection Simulation

Project Design Concept: Financial fraud is growing more aggressive. Conventional awareness campaigns rarely leave a lasting impression. At FinTech Expo, we designed a realistic scenario simulation experience. We recreated an authentic mobile interface and SMS environment on a touchscreen, allowing visitors to face convincing scam messages in a completely safe setting. Through hands-on practice, participants build genuine awareness of fraud prevention.

Interactive Experience Flow:

• Realistic Mobile Interface: The screen displays a familiar SMS inbox, simulating an everyday life scenario.
• Real vs. Fake Message Identification: The system randomly delivers various types of messages — including bank notifications, parcel collection alerts and investment tips — and visitors must judge each one, then tap either "Delete / Block" or "Open".
• Fraud Prevention Education Breakdown: If a visitor accidentally opens a scam message, the system immediately displays a warning and highlights the tell-tale signs — such as suspicious URLs and phishing language — providing a real-time learning opportunity.
