【Creative Interface Design】 Choose Your Low-Carbon Life | 2024 Net Zero City Expo - Virtual Vending Machine Touchscreen Experience

Project Design Concept: How do you make the serious topic of net-zero emissions feel relevant to the public? Starlite Technology partnered with the Plastics Center to transform dry industry guidelines into a familiar vending machine interface. Low-carbon solutions for three sectors — retail, food and beverage, and hair care — were packaged as products on the shelves. Visitors browse and select items just as they would when buying a drink. Through intuitive tapping and coin-insert actions, they pick up knowledge about energy saving and carbon reduction services, making green transition outreach approachable and everyday.

Interactive Experience Flow:

• Realistic Shopping Experience: The touchscreen displays a detailed 3D vending machine interface with various low-carbon solutions arranged on the shelves.
• Intuitive Touch Selection: Visitors tap an industry category of interest — such as low-carbon hair-washing services or green-packaging food and beverage — and the screen immediately shows detailed carbon-reduction guidance and data.
• Knowledge to Take Away: An animated product-drop sequence signals that the visitor has successfully acquired that piece of low-carbon knowledge. A QR code lets visitors download the full digital handbook.
