【Parent-Child Collaborative Art】 Forest Symphony｜2023 Xinfeng Arts Festival - Digital Colouring Projection Interaction

Project Design Concept: At the nature-inspired Xinfeng Arts Festival, we used digital scan projection technology to create a magical art studio called "Forest Symphony". Children were no longer passive listeners. Instead, they could colour the monkeys, deer and birds of the forest with their own hands. By combining hand-drawn artwork with digital technology, flat drawings came to life instantly, leaping and running across the wall. This sparked children's creativity and curiosity about the natural world.

Interactive Experience Flow:

• Physical Colouring: Children used crayons or coloured markers to fill in animal outlines on paper with their chosen colours.
• Scan to Animate: Completed artwork was handed to staff for scanning. The system then performed real-time 3D modelling and texture mapping.
• Interactive Projection: Within seconds, each child's own coloured animal appeared in the forest on the large interactive projection wall, moving and interacting with the scene in a lifelike way, delivering a full sense of surprise and achievement.
