【Senior Interactive Technology】 Balance Challenge | 2026 Senior Health Industry Expo (Ministry of Sports) – Motion-Sensing Balance Interaction
Project Design Concept: In response to the health promotion needs of a super-aged society, the Ministry of Sports planned a range of interactive experiences at the 2026 Senior Health Industry Expo.
Traditional physical balance beam training is combined with intelligent posture-sensing technology, allowing older adults to take on physical agility challenges through scenario-based stages in a fully protected environment. The system detects postural stability and coordination in real time, providing precise functional assessment data that makes fall prevention and strength training both intuitive and rewarding.
Advantages of the Interactive Application:
- Safety Protection and Real-Time Monitoring: Integrated sensing devices accurately capture postural sway trajectories, ensuring older adults can challenge themselves in a safe environment.
- Scenario-Based Training: Common balance and fall-prevention movements are transformed into a balance beam stage-clearing game, significantly increasing older adults' motivation and focus for self-directed exercise.
- Data-Driven Records: Results are logged in a virtual challenge profile upon completion of each stage, providing participants with relevant reference data after the full interactive experience.
